Canadian Nuffield Farming Scholarships are awarded to enthusiastic individuals, with a passion for agriculture and a desire to expand your knowledge, pursue new ideas and to share your findings with others. The Scholar must travel for a minimum of ten weeks, with a minimum leg of six consecutive weeks.
A Nuffield Scholarship is available to anyone between the ages of 25 and 45 involved in agriculture in any capacity of primary production, industry or governance. The scholarship provides individuals with the unique opportunity to:
- Access the world’s best in food and farming
- Stand back from their day-to-day occupation and study a topic of real interest
- Achieve personal development through travel and study
- Deliver long-term benefits to Canadian farmers and growers, and to the industry as a whole
